How to pack a suitcase

In Denkool Corporate Living, we understand that packing for a trip can be a somewhat overwhelming task, especially if you're preparing for a long journey. You might be wondering, "How have most of our Koolivers done it?" Here are some steps you can follow to pack efficiently and organized:

  1. Make a list: Before you start packing, create a list of everything you need to take with you. Consider the duration of the trip, the weather at your destination, and the activities you plan to do. This way, you can ensure you don't forget anything important.
  2. Choose the right suitcase: It's important to select a suitcase that suits your needs. If you're taking a short trip, a small carry-on suitcase might be sufficient. However, for a longer journey, a larger suitcase with wheels could be more convenient; most airlines accept up to 23kg in your suitcase.
  3. Carefully select your clothes: Choose the right clothing based on the weather and activities you plan to engage in. Try to select items that can be mixed and matched to maximize space in your suitcase. Also, rolling clothes instead of folding them can save space.
  4. Pack your toiletries: Place your toiletries in a plastic bag to prevent spills and store them securely in your suitcase. Consider using small containers to avoid carrying too much weight and for airport security checks.
  5. Organize your shoes: Shoes can take up a lot of space in a suitcase, so try to bring only the necessary pairs. Place them in separate bags or in a designated section of the suitcase for shoes.
  6. Use compression bags: Compression bags can help save space by removing air from your clothes and reducing their volume. These bags are especially useful for bulky items such as jackets and coats.
  7. Place heavier items at the bottom: To prevent your suitcase from becoming unbalanced, place the heavier items at the bottom. This will help make your suitcase more stable and easier to transport.
  8. Close the suitcase: Once you've finished packing, close the suitcase and make sure it's securely locked if necessary.

By following these simple steps, you should be able to pack an organized and efficient travel suitcase. You won't have to worry about anything else – we'll make sure that when you arrive at our coliving, you feel right at home. Welcome to our Kool community!
